What it does
Nought or more, until the parser stops.
A parser that succeeds without consuming would loop forever, so the loop
stops when the position does not move. That is a defect in the parser it was
given, and stopping is the only thing this can do about it that terminates.
Read the signature

- Result makes success and recoverable failure part of the function's type.
