Std.Set.split
1 declaration
fn
split: &Set[T] -> T -> fn(T, T) -> Bool -> (Set[T], Set[T])This is a callable function.
What it does
The members a comparison places before a value, and those it places after.
The value itself is in neither, which is what makes this a split rather than
a partition. The comparison is supplied because a set is generic and the
language has no ordering bound to write yet.
Read the signature
- The text after the name is the type checked by Pudu.
- Read arrows from left to right: inputs come first, and the final type is returned.
- & borrows a value for this call instead of moving or copying it.
- Names inside [ ] are type arguments, such as the item type held by a collection.
