This is a callable function.

What it does

Divide to a stated number of fractional digits, rounding as told.

This is the operation to reach for when left / right reports that the

exact quotient does not terminate. It answers None only for a divisor of

nought, because the caller has already said what to do about a quotient

that runs on.

Read the signature
