Std.Audio.seconds
fn
seconds: &Std.Audio.Format -> Int -> Result[Std.Audio.Seconds, Std.Audio.AudioError]This is a callable function.
What it does
The exact duration of a number of frames, as a reduced fraction of a second.
Time is counted in frames and converted only at the edge, so a position
after hours of playback is exactly where it should be rather than where
repeated binary fractions of a second drifted to.
Read the signature
- The text after the name is the type checked by Pudu.
- Read arrows from left to right: inputs come first, and the final type is returned.
- & borrows a value for this call instead of moving or copying it.
- Names inside [ ] are type arguments, such as the item type held by a collection.
- Result makes success and recoverable failure part of the function's type.
