This is a callable function.

What it does

A session belonging to nobody in particular.

What a visitor gets before they say who they are: somewhere to keep a

basket or a chosen language. It carries no identity, and gaining one is the

thing that issues a new name.

Read the signature

• The text after the name is the type checked by Pudu.
• Read arrows from left to right: inputs come first, and the final type is returned.

• Result makes success and recoverable failure part of the function's type.
